Self-Serve Platform Guide

Welcome to our Self-Serve platform for CTV (Connected TV) advertising! This guide will walk you through the steps to set up an account, build a campaign, and track results. Let’s get started!

Setting Up an Account

  1. Visit DIRECTV Adverting Self-Serve
    Navigate to DIRECTV.JamLoop.com
  2. Sign Up
    Click on the “Sign Up” button. You’ll be directed to the registration page.
  3. Enter Your Information
    Fill in your details, including:
    • Name
    • Company Name
    • Email Address
    • Phone Number
  4. Create a Password
    Choose a strong password to secure your account.
  5. Agree to Terms and Conditions
    Review and accept the terms and conditions.
  6. Verify Your Email
    Check your email inbox for a verification link. Click on the link to confirm your account.
  7. Log In
    After verification, return to the DIRECTV.JamLoop.com , log in with your new credentials, and you’re ready to get started!

Building a Campaign

Defining Your Goals

  1. Access the Dashboard
    Once logged in, navigate to the “Dashboard” to start a new campaign.
  2. Click on “Create New Campaign”
    Select “Create New Campaign” to begin the setup process.
  3. Set Campaign Objectives
    Choose your primary objectives from options such as brand awareness, lead generation, or app installs.

Targeting Your Audience

  1. Define Your Audience
    Specify your target audience based on:
    • Demographics (age, gender, income level)
    • Geographics (location)
    • Behavioral Data (interests, viewing habits)
    • Device Type (e.g., smart TVs, streaming devices)
  2. Refine Your Targeting
    Use advanced targeting options to further hone in on your ideal viewers.

Creating Your Ad Content

  1. Upload Your Creative
    Click “Upload Ad” to add your video content. Supported formats typically include MP4 and MOV.
  2. Set Ad Specifications
    Ensure your ad meets Direct TV specifications. 
  3. Preview Your Ad
    Use the preview feature to check how your ad will appear on CTV screens.

Setting Your Budget and Bid

  1. Choose Your Budget
    Decide on a daily or total campaign budget.
  2. Schedule Your Campaign
    Select start and end dates for your campaign, or set it to run continuously.

Launching Your Campaign

  1. Review and Confirm
    Review all campaign settings and creatives. Make any necessary adjustments.
  2. Click “Launch”
    Hit the “Launch” button to set your campaign live.

Tracking and Analyzing Results

  1. Access Campaign Analytics
    Go to the “Campaigns” section in the dashboard and select the campaign you want to analyze.
  2. Review Key Metrics
    Monitor performance metrics such as:
    • Impressions
    • View Completion Rate (VCR)
    • Conversion Rate
    • Cost Per Acquisition (CPA)
  3. Generate Reports
    Use the reporting tools to create detailed performance reports. Customize reports based on your needs.
  4. Optimize Your Campaign
    Analyze the data to make informed adjustments to your targeting, budget, and creative elements for better results.
